Gap analysis of evidence and information on the acceptability of, and access to, maternal immunization that contributed to the development of a roadmap for advancing maternal immunization against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
Goal
- To conduct a rapid appraisal of the evidence on the acceptability of, and access to, maternal immunization and prepare a summary of the gaps in knowledge.
Scope
MMGH leveraged its knowledge and experience with immunization programmes and research to conduct a gap analysis on the acceptability of, and access to, maternal immunization. The analysis involved a 2-week rapid appraisal of available evidence and information in published and grey literature, after which gaps were highlighted and documented.
Result
This analysis contributed to a larger gap analysis on advancing RSV maternal immunization, and led to the development of a roadmap for advancing maternal immunization against RSV.
