Develop an operational framework for the European Immunization Agenda 2030

Client

Support the WHO European Regional Office to operationalize the European Immunization Agenda 2030 (EIA2030).

Goal
  • To support WHO EURO to adapt the EIA2030 to the regional context.
Scope
After supporting VPI/EURO to prepare the EIA2030, and following a request from the Regional Committee, VPI/EURO has requested MMGH to provide further support to prepare a framework to operationalize the EIA2030 in the region. MMGH prepared an initial draft of the framework through an iterative process in close consultation with relevant focal points at VPI/EURO. The draft framework was then discussed at three subregional meetings of the immunization programme managers in the region, and the document updated with their feedback. The operational framework is currently undergoing a final review following which MMGH will support VPI/EURO to finalize it for publication.
Result

The framework will guide immunization programme managers in WHO EURO Member States in developing national immunization strategies and plans to operationalize EIA2030 in their respective countries.
